I came to the realization that I’ve been sticking to the same makeup routine and same product staples for years. I love having a fresh, glowy face (that takes as little effort as possible) and I’d love to share with you some of my everyday makeup favorites.
After moisturizing (current fav: Glossier’s Priming Rich) I add a layer of the BECCA Face Primer to get my skin looking glowy and perfected. On off days I’ll mix it with my moisturizer to keep my skin looking naturally dewy or I’ll add a few dabs to my cheekbones instead of a powder highlighter!
Believe the hype. This is my new favorite everyday foundation, the formula is incredible & filled with so many good vitamins and antioxidants! Not only does it color correct, but the foundation provides just the right amount of coverage without being cakey on the skin. It even has an SPF coverage of 50—my skin has looked noticeably clearer since wearing this.
This is one of the only concealers that does the job for me and it’s available in drugstores! It covers my dark dark circles without appearing cakey and blends well.
This is a staple of mine for setting my face and it’s so affordable! This powder is extremely fine, easy to apply and leaves my skin feeling super soft.
When Im looking for a little extra glow I’ll dust just a tad of this opal highlighter on my cheekbones and cupid’s bow. The shade Opal has soft pink undertones which blends naturally with my skin tone.
I don’t know if it’s the beach bum in me or what, but if there is one item I can’t leave the house with it is bronzer. I’ve been loving this Too Faced Matte Bronzer lately to contour my cheekbones and waken my face up—plus it smells like chocolate!
Bronzer in crease & Naked2 Palette
Because I’m usually running out of the apartment in the morning I’ll quickly swipe my bronzer onto my crease to add some natural dimension to eyes. If I have some extra time I’ll add a little of the taupe shade Tease from my Naked2 palette for a little more color.
I have tried so many mascaras, but this product is my holy grail. It’s comb is great for lengthening and separating my lashes for a natural look. It’s also great for layering other volumizing mascaras if I want a little bit more drama. Tip: every time I open a new mascara I bend the mascara comb which adds a little more curl to my lashes.
This was the very first product I tried when I signed up for Birchbox! I love how moisturizing Burt’s Bees lip balms are and I love how this one adds a pop of color to my lips.
I’d love to hear what your everyday routine looks like. What products are you currently loving?
