routine with you.
I have quite thin hair, that tends to dull and break easily if I don’t take extra special care of it. These past few months I’ve been trying out Sugar Bear Hair Vitamins (which are full of biotin), trying to only wash my hair every 3rd day, making sure I brush my wet hair with a
wide tooth comb, and making sure my ends are moisturized and taken care of. I’ve also been experimenting with different shampoos, and recently switched to Pureology. Every since I switched my shampoo and conditioner to hydrating Pureology, my split ends have been hidden and my hair has remained soft and shiny. I also have been adding Moroccanoil to my ends on off days and adding Amika blowout spray to my roots for added volume as needed.
The last time my hair was cut and colored was last summer, so my hair was looking quite dry, dead, and overall dull. After vamping up my shampoo routine, I decided it was time to bite the bullet and head to the salon to clean up my ends, and to hopefully add some color and shine. I headed to Fox & Jane Salon where I got a cool, ashy balayage to my brown hair(this nice weather has had me itching for beach hair). I can’t remember the last time my hair looked this alive!
Because of my routine, my ends weren’t in that bad of condition so my stylist only had to clean up my layers so I could keep my length! My dark brown hair doesn’t take to color well, so I opted for a ashy toner to counteract any brassiness that might appear, and am using L’oreal’s purple shampoo to hold it up. I’ve been so happy with the results and I’m excited to see how my hair grows in and transforms this year! What is your hair routine like? Have you used anything that helped you see dramatic results?
